Ruby's Kitchen AZ - White Mountains Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ

Found this place while looking for brunch. We were a table of 5, food came out hot and fresh. Everything flavorful. Service was great- had a bowl of water for our pup and nice outdoor seating. Three teenagers and two adults left happy and full! Highly recommend!

Went to Ruby's New Mexican Cafe this evening. We started dinner with a Hatch Green Chile Cheese Crisp. Very tasty but not enough green chilies or sour cream & guacamole. Our dinner selsections were stacked cheese enchiladas with dark red sauce, rice & beans, and Cod fish filets with French fries. Both were ok but nothing to rave about. Big portions and each dinner selection was about $14 per plate. Staff was exceptional. Cafe was clean. Chef came out and visited each table which was a nice touch,

I was driving by today looking for somewhere to stop and eat when I came across Ruby’s Cafe. Let me tell you I am glad that I did. I was welcomed by the server, who was extremely professional and courteous. I ordered the Chilaquiles and if I could, I would rate them 10 stars Or more I have not tasted any thing like those in a very long time, and then to find out that they are made from scratch, makes it even better and authentic . I will definitely be going back for more

Excellent breakfast chimichanga with Hatch green chilis. The owner and chef came to our table. What a nice man! He said we need to try the dinner sopapillas. The service was fast and we didn't have to wait an hour like some of the other local favorites.

My dinner was great. Started off with a great waitress who kept checking on me and kept my drink full. It was not a long wait for my food. It came in a timely fashion. I had the fried fish and chips. I ended up bringing a piece of fish and some fries home from my meal. The total for the fried fish and a drink, was like $18.00. Which was a fairly healthy portion. I will be returning to try out more of the menu.

We were there over a year ago, they had the best fish Friday. The owner/chef, Bill, I believe is his name actually came out to ask how the food was. It was good then,don't know if the restaurant has changed hands. I know it has changed locations tho.

This place was unexpectedly delicious. Friendly staff. Great customer service. Flavors are authentic and food is not greasy or not artificially tasting. They made pancakes for my daughter. Their Famous Eggschiladas were quite tasty. Coffee was also perfect. Not bitter. Not charred tasting. Just perfect. Glad we decided to go in. We went a couple days later and they are consistent. Great coffee, service, and fast. Portions are perfect! We had the Ruby’s Twos and Ruby’s Country Breakfast. Flavors spot on. They could improve on their biscuits. But, everything was delicious. I requested a side of their green salsa to have with my scrambled eggs.
